Professional Audio Design will showcase the new J-Lab Studio Electronics JLA-3, which offers a transformer-balanced, solid-state discrete optical compressor in a single-width 500 Series module. The unit provides transparent compression or limiting, and separate user-changeable opto-cells offer different attack/release curves. The JLA-3 provides jumpers for switchable hi-lo input gain, balanced or unbalanced operation, and stereo linking.
