MIX’S 2007 CLASS OF FEATURE

In June, Mix magazine will present the “Class of 2007,” a photo feature showing some of the best looking, most exciting, new or redesigned studios to open during the past year (March 2006 through March 2007). Designers, studio owners and equipment providers are invited to submit photos and captions to be considered for this feature.

To submit a studio for consideration, please provide at least one photograph of the facility. Pictures should be high-quality prints or transparencies, or high-resolution digital files. Photos may be e-mailed to Barbara Schultz ( bschultz@mixonline.com ) or mailed to Barbara Schultz, Mix magazine, 6400 Hollis Street, Suite 12, Emeryville, CA 94608.

In addition to your studio photograph(s), specific caption information must be provided, and can easily be sent via our online submission form (please note that photos must be e-mailed or mailed separately, as noted above). Caption info can also be sent via mail or e-mail, and should include the name and location of the facility, the date the studio opened or re-opened, name and contact information for the studio designer, a list of major equipment included in the studio, and a description of the key acoustical/design features of the room. Also, please provide contact information (name, phone, e-mail) for someone at the studio, and the name of the photographer who took your photo(s).

All submissions for the Class of 2007 must be received by Mix by April 6. In the mean time, questions about the Class of 2007 can be directed to Barbara Schultz: 510/985-3266; bschultz@mixonline.com .
