The dSPEC226 loudspeaker processor offers a high-speed SHARC DSP and a Xilinx Spartan FPGA. All dSPEC models feature a 4-input/6-output fixed-chain DSP architecture that includes 2x6 native analog I/Os. Various expansion cards are available to provide two additional analog inputs, two AES-3 dual-channel digital inputs or eight CobraNet inputs and outputs. Additional expansion cards will become available as new digital audio networking protocols gain market acceptance.

Able to record up to 32 channels of audio at 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz directly to Broadcast WAV files on an external USB 2 (FAT32-formatted) drive, the BBR-DANTE also accommodates higher sample rate recording (88.2 kHz and 96kHz) at a reduced track count.
