The Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio has announced that 28 major pro audio companies have already signed up as sponsors for the 18th Annual Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards, set for October 7 at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in Los Angeles. Once again, JBL Professional and Shure have come aboard as Platinum sponsors. In addition, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) will be the official sponsor of the Technical categories, and Gibson Musical Instruments has renewed its sponsorship of the Les Paul Award.
