13th Annual Mix L.A. Open Overwhelming Success

The weather may have been cold, but a sold-out crowd of more than 140 golfers braved the chill at the 13th Annual Mix LA Open in Malibu May 12, to make the event an overwhelming success!! 2008 TEC Awards to be held Friday October 3 at the Westin St. Francis

After a stint on Broadway in 2007, the TEC Awards comes home in 2008 to the city by the Bay, on Friday, October 3, 2008. The last time the TEC Awards graced the Westin St. Francis was in 1994, when Beatles’ producer Sir George Martin presented a posthumous TEC Hall of Fame Award to the family of musician and composer Frank Zappa.

Mix Foundation president Hillel Resner is excited because, “Not only is it a classically beautiful venue, but its location on Union Square is super convenient for AES attendees.”

As always, the TEC Awards will be held during the 125th Audio Engineering Society Convention, scheduled for the Moscone Convention Center October 2-5.
