Plug-ins are in use almost every day in any music production. What's your go-to plug-in? What's the oddest use you've put a plug-in into effect? E-mail the staff at mixeditorial@mixonline.com.

Euphonix will show a variety of products at NAB 2005 (Booth #N3606), including Max Air Version 1.4 software upgrade, the Euphonix/Hitachi server solution and more.

Euphonix will be spotlighting seamless integration of the System 5-B and Max Air digital consoles with facility routers, which enable the audio operator and the panel-controlled router operators to have fully independent control of every source on the system for the first time.

Max Air’s V1.4 software upgrade, another NAB announcement, includes new features such as Image Video TSI-1000 Mnemonic integration.

For the first time at NAB are the Euphonix System 5-MC console and the MC Intelligent Application Controller for audio post applications which interface directly to Digital Audio Workstations such as Steinberg’s Nuendo and Merging’s Pyramix using the EuCon high speed control protocol.

Euphonix will also be showing the popular System 5-P audio post mixing system chosen by top facilities around the world.

Euphonix and Hitachi will debut a server solution designed specifically for audio post and music facility applications. This system provides both scalable storage and the necessary bandwidth to handle multiple audio workstations and Video Server Applications simultaneously.
