Groovebiz.com has announced a new product for digital download based on the discontinued Ensoniq ASR-10 keyboard workstation for computer-based sequencers.
The ASR-10 is reportedly the sequencing keyboard workstation used by Kanye West, The Neptunes, Timbaland and the Alchemist to craft hits for Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Missy Elliott, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Usher, P Diddy and others.
“The ASR-10 has a special feel and what we’re doing is making that available as audio loops that can be used to create MIDI groove templates on sequencers like Logic Audio, Cubase, Nuendo, Digital Performer or Pro Tools”, says Groovebiz.com founder OD Hunte. “What you get are four audio files which you import and convert to groove templates in your sequencer.”
The Groovebiz.com audio groove template files correspond to the 1/16, 1/16T, 1/32 and 1/32Tquantizations found on the ASR-10.
