Despite the recent destruction wreaked on the greater Nashville community by the floods of early May, the annual Audio Masters Benefit Golf Tournament will go on as scheduled on May 27 and May 28.

“Indeed,” says Nashville Engineer Relief Fund (NERF) Board President Jim Kaiser, “the incentives for the benefit are greater than ever. Countless individuals in the region have had their homes and livelihood affected by this tragedy, and that includes the greater Nashville audio community.”

For more than a decade, the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund has given assistance to area audio professionals in times of crisis, whether the cause is illness, injury, fire or now, flood. NERF assistance is focused on providing immediate relief for essential living expenses such as food and shelter. The annual Audio Masters event is the primary funding vehicle for NERF, a registered non-profit corporation (501c3) established by the Nashville Section of the Audio Engineering Society.

“This is a perfect time to donate to NERF,” says Nicole Cochran, event coordinator for the Audio Masters, “knowing the funds will go directly to our audio community. We are so grateful and humbled by the many local businesses and national manufacturers that have for years generously donated to this fund. It is more important than ever that we fill our coffers so that we can help those in need.”

Individuals and companies interested in showing their support for the Nashville audio community in this time of crisis by participating in the Audio Masters, whether through sponsorship or by donation of silent auction items, can contact Ms. Cochran at 615/293-0260 or nicole@nicoftimepr.com.

Direct donations can be made to:
