Ocean Beach, Calif. Group Slightly Stoopid, the 20-something rockers who sing the praises of the beach, beer, and surfboards, in styles ranging from hip-hop reggae to unplugged acoustic balladry, mastered their new album, Closer To The Sun at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
Pictured during a peak of mastering creativity are, from L to R: Miguel Skunk, producer; Kyle McDonald, guitar/bass/vocals; Ryan Moran, drums; Miles "Stoopid" Doughty, guitar/bass/vocals; and Brian "Big Bass" Gardner, mastering engineer.
The album was recorded at Total Access studios in Redondo Beach with producer/engineers Miguel (Sublime, Long Beach Dub, Unwritten Law, Skunk Records), Chris D (Philadelphonic, G. Love & Special Sauce), and dub reggae producer Scientist.
