Zac, a multi-room complex in Atlanta comprising two recording studios, three Pro Tools digital suites and an equipment rental house, announced its most recent sessions.

Atlanta-based producer Polow Da Don worked in Stonehenge Recording (which features an 80-channel SSL 4080 G+ Series console, a Studer A827 and a Pro Tools HD3 system) tracking several acts, including J Records artists J. Valentine, Mario Vasquez and Fantasia; LaFace Records artist Ciara for her upcoming release Ciara: The Evolution; Universal’s Mya and Suai; and Roc-a-Fella Records artists Jay-Z and Kingpin. Tony “TBone” Terrebonne engineered these sessions, assisted by JJ Penders.

Also in Stonehenge, Don McCollister mixed a new Christmas album for Christian rock band Third Day; Terrebonne assisted. Vasquez tracked with Johnta Austin producing and Terrebonne engineering. Veteran engineer/mixer Paul Hagar returned to Stonehenge to mix a track for TVT Records artist New Years Day, assisted by Terrebonne. Universal artist Mya also tracked with producers Brian Michael Cox and Donnie Scants, with Terrebonne engineering and Penders assisting. Cox also mixed several cuts for Columbia Records’ Frankie J and Def Jam’s Bobby Valentino, with Sam Thomas engineering and Terrebonne assisting.

The London Urban Collective, which was devised by Freeport Management UK to showcase new urban music and is funded by Arts Council England, was in Zac Digital A (which has a Pro Tools HD2 system) mixing for its annual release. The LUC was produced by Harry Leckstein and mixed by Karl Heilbron.

The Game recorded several tracks for an upcoming Aftermath release, and was engineered by Morgan Garcia.

Newly signed Def Jam female vocal trio Jane has begun tracking for their debut release with producer Ty-V and engineer Corey Stocker.
