The 108IM lightweight, copolymer-based, all-weather loudspeaker system is intended for outdoor and indoor installations that require high vocal intelligibility and accuracy.

The unit consimprises a single 8-inch woofer and ETS driver coupled to a fully rotatable high-frequency horn; it can also be supplied with a 75W, three-tap, line-matching transformer with either a 100V or 70.7V primary. A complete selection of array and flying/suspension hardware is also available.

The unit's vent design allows for easy moisture drainage from the interior of the enclosure. The enclosure and grille design are rated to IEC 529 IP45, solid object penetration to 1 mm (0.04 inches) and water jets from any direction. The enclosures and components are also rated to Mil Spec 810. The input section comprises 4-pin Neutrik Speakon connectors and a stainless-steel hardware barrier strip. A weather cover is provided with an integral gland nut connector for outdoor applications. For outdoor configurations, these connections are made through the four-position barrier strip. The gland nut is weather proof and is rated NEMA 6P (IP68). The connector will accommodate cable outside diameters from 7 to 12 mm (0.236 to 0.472 inches). The maximum diameter will accommodate most two-conductor AWG 12 cable assemblies. For more information, visit www.onesystems.com. For more new product announcements, visit the Briefing Room.
