APOGEE X-HD OPTION CARD: The X-HD v.2 option allows for direct connectivity between Pro Tools HD systems and Apogee’s AD-16X, DA-16X, and Rosetta 800 and 200 series converters, providing superior conversion to Pro Tools HD users without an additional interface. The X-HD v.2 release changes Apogee hardware emulation in Pro Tools to better support I/O setup and auto delay compensation without compromising channel counts. AES booth #572.

LYNX LT-FW FIREWIRE CARD: The LT-FW ($595) LSlot FireWire interface lets Lynx Aurora 8 and Aurora 16 AD/DA converters interface with/be controlled by a Mac or PC. The unit enables 32 channels of analog and digital input and output at sample rates up to 96 kHz, or 16 channels of analog and digital I/O at 192 kHz. The optical ports can also be used as 8-channel ADAT I/O, for a maximum capacity of 18 concurrent I/O channels. ROLAND SYSTEMS GROUP RSS S-OPT: The RSS S-OPT fiber-optic data converter designed for the RSS Digital Snakes and V-Mixing System lets users transmit data up to 2 km (1.2 miles). Two S-OPT units can be connected using the proprietary Power Link cable (ARC-15, sold separately) so redundant power can be supplied from one unit to the other. SONIFEX RB-SC2 CONVERTER: This 1U sample rate converter supports rates up to 192 kHz and offers two optional video synchronizing boards that can be synched to an analog video signal or SDI digital video signal (HD or SD). Output formats include AES/EBU, S/PDIF and Toslink optical. An X-Lock mode lets the unit function as a full bi-directional sample rate converter to be inserted between two digital devices running at different rates, ensuring that the two units remain locked.
