Ex’pression College for Digital Arts in Emeryville, Calif., announces the appointment of Dan Levinson as Chief Executive Officer. Levinson will join the team on October 12, and comes to Ex’pression College with more than 19 years of experience in higher education. Levinson began as an audio instructor in the Audio and Video Department at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, and held an array of academic, administrative and strategic positions with the Art Institutes.

Before joining Ex’pression College, Levinson served as president of the Art Institute of Orange County, where he successfully provided strategic direction and leadership to students and faculty while maintaining campus growth. Previously, as group vice president, he oversaw 12 campuses and played a key strategic role in both expansion and additions of new campus locations.

"The combination of his artistic background with his considerable accomplishments in both art school management and curriculum make him the perfect choice as Chief Executive.”

Levinson has also served on the board of directors of the EDMC Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money for scholarships. He is currently a Commissioner for the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), where he is actively involved in initiatives including human resources and distance education.
