SIRIUS Satellite Radio in New York City, home to Howard Stern, NFL Radio and Eminem’s own hip hop station, relies on Apogee Digital’s Rosetta 800 24-bit multichannel A/D converter for live broadcast applications. SIRIUS recently broadcast a live performance from Patti Smith alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea at CBGB in New York City on its SIRIUS Disorder 24 channel.
"We use Apogee converters anytime we need I/O of the top quality that we can rely on for broadcast purposes,” states engineer Matthew Galek (pictured).
