Minnetonka Audio Software’s SurCode for Dolby Pro Logic II was used by Lakeshore Records to become first label to release an iTunes recording encoded with Pro Logic II technology. Just recently released, the movie soundtrack to Pathology, an iTunes exclusive and MGM release, is a score album composed by Robert Williamson and Johannes Kobilke and mixed by Wolfgang “Amadeus” Aichholz.

The SurCode for Dolby Pro Logic II software matrix encoder allows broadcasters, game developers, video producers and audio professionals to encode surround sound mixes into stereo sound files. Pro Logic II encoded files are completely stereo-compatible and can be decoded by virtually every Dolby Digital home theater system sold today. SurCode for Dolby Pro Logic II is a fully licensed software-only version of the Dolby Pro Logic II encoder.
SurCode for Dolby Pro Logic II stand-alone software application for Mac/PC is priced at $495. SurCode for Dolby Pro Logic II VST plug-in for Mac/PC is priced at $550 and SurCode for Dolby Pro Logic II RTAS plug-in for Mac/PC Pro Tools is priced at $795.
