Neutrik recently supplied producer/engineer Jim Messina with NPPA 96 Bantam (TT) jacks for use in upcoming projects. The notable producer/engineer, famous for his work with music industry veteran Kenny Loggins, has relied on Neutrik's products for years.

“One of the reasons why I continually use Neutrik products is because of their pure performance and consistency,” explains Messina. “Neutrik products are extremely durable. There are many other manufactures to choose from, but Neutrik consistently provides solid, professional gear that has stood the test of time for me.”

The NPPA-TT-E56 Bantam (TT) jack is housed in a black-coated steel shell and provides a compact (1U high) patching system for 19-inch rackmounting. It features gold-plated Neutrik pre-wired double jacks with enhanced contact integrity. With its individual, non-solder normaling configuration bar system, the NPPA Bantam (TT) patchbay is said to be easier to configure and can handle both analog and digital signals. Messina uses Neutrik's NPPA-TT-E56, which features an “Easy Patch” patch panel, 2x48 TT (Bantam) jacks, half normaled, 6x5-pole EDAC male connectors.

Messina began his career as a recording engineer and record producer and then moved on to become a member of several legendary rock groups, including the Buffalo Springfield and Poco, before joining Kenny Loggins to form Loggins and Messina. When the popular duo reconnected in 2005, a nationwide tour captivated audiences everywhere, ultimately producing the CD and DVD Loggins and Messina Sittin' In Again. In addition to his successful career as a musician and producer, Messina actively oversees Jim Messina's Songwriters' Performance Workshop, an ongoing class that teaches singers and songwriters to become more expressive.
