Violet Audio has launched its ADP61, a 24-bit 192kHz studio A/V preamp decoder. The ADP61 allows remote-control selection of both visual and audio signals for a wide range of source material.

ADP61 is geared for use as the main control hub bridging all audio and video connections together, as well as for the mixer-less DAW studio.

The ADP61 allows monitoring and decoding for all signals from stereo to 6.1 surround audio. With balanced XLR outputs and an infra-red remote control, it's easy to monitor any connected devices such as CD, video, DVD, TV. Decoding is provided for digitally connected devices compatible with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Surround EX, DTS, DTS ES, DTS ES Matrix, DTS 96/24, DTS Neo and more.

The ADP61 connections include a balanced XLR stereo input, five balanced (25-pin multichannel 5.1 input), a 5.1 unbalanced, an AES/EBU digital input, a coaxial digital input, an optical digital input, six stereo unbalanced inputs, four S-Video ins and seven XLR Balanced outs.
