Brainworx bx_panEQ Panoramic Equalizer
Plugin Alliance in Santa Cruz, Calif., announces All Bundle Version 4.1 ($4,359 MSRP), which adds Brainworx bx_panEQ, SPL EQ Ranger Plus and Acme Audio Opticom XLA-3. All Bundle now comprises 66 plug-ins from 15 manufacturers in AAX Native, Audio Units, VST2 and VST3 formats. Forty-four of the 66 plug-ins support the AAX DSP format, and all included plug-ins run on Mac OS 10.6 through 10.11 and Windows 64-bit 7 or 8.
Brainworx bx_panEQ Panoramic Equalizer ($299 MSRP) has three parametric bell-curve filters that independently affect signal at discrete pan positions in the stereo field. Users can regulate the panoramic width of EQ adjustments, automate panning filter effects, add width to mono signals, “stretch” sounds across the stereo field and fine-tune using the Panoramic Spectral Analyzer.
SPL EQ Ranger Plus
For SPL EQ Ranger Plus ($199 MSRP), Grammy Award–winning mixer Craig Bauer and Brainworx founder Dirk Ulrich designed 181 different modules, each with EQ frequencies and bandwidths optimized for different sources.
Acme Audio Opticom XLA-3
Plugin Alliance says the Acme Audio Opticom XLA-3 ($299 MSRP) was inspired by the LA-2A opto-electric limiter and combines the best of three compression curves into a single unit. It includes software-only features like a Wet/Dry mix knob and Output Trim knob. It can also act as a “tone box” for adding coloration and distortion without reducing dynamics.
Each plug-in is also available for a fully functional, 14-day demo, and paying customers can opt for 12 monthly, interest-free installments, with discounts applied for any previously owned plugins.
Plugin Alliance has also released the 100% Venue AAX Bundle Version 1.1, offering 10 plug-ins, now including Brainworx bx_console, while adding improved Avid VENUE | S6L parameter layouts for all included plug-ins.
