CSS Studios Appoints Salvino as Director of Feature Film Development

Frank Salvino (pictured) has joined CSS Studios as Director of Feature Film Business Development. Salvino will service existing feature film clients and seek to develop new sales for companies within the CSS Studios group, including Soundelux, Todd-AO, Sound One, Modern Music, and POP Sound. He will report to Jeffrey Eisner, Senior Vice President, Feature Film and Television Business Development.

“Having worked with us as a long-time client of CSS Studios, we have come to develop a deep respect and appreciation for Frank’s integrity and his thorough understanding of the post production process,” says Eisner. “Frank’s experience will enhance our ability to respond to evolving workflow requirements in a smarter, more comprehensive way. We are excited to have Frank join our group and we look forward to him continuing to offer his valuable expertise to our community of filmmakers.”

Salvino brings nearly 20 years of experience as a post-production supervisor to CSS Studios, including nine years at New Line Cinema, where he held the title Vice President, Feature Post Production. He has worked as a freelance post-production supervisor for the past two years. His film credits (numbering more than two dozen) include Hall Pass, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, 17 Again, and Pride and Glory.

In his former roles, Salvino worked frequently with Soundelux and Todd-AO. “I have developed a lot of respect for CSS Studios facilities and for the creativity of the artists who work there,” Salvino says. “I am very excited to be working with these great companies.”

Salvino adds that he believes that his experience at New Line and elsewhere will provide valuable insight in working with CSS Studios clients. “I know what producers are looking for and I appreciate their concerns,” he says.

Salvino’s background also includes posts with Initial Entertainment Group as Director of Production, and with LIVE Entertainment as Director of Post-Production. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky.
