On May 7, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Central time, Kurt Howell of Marshall Graphics Systems will host a free online seminar entitled “Recording Over The Internet.” The seminar will cover recording, editing and sharing files, and approving a mix using high-speed Internet, Source-Connect software and Pro Tools Version 8.
Special guests are Richard Marshall of Source Elements (which manufactures Source-Connect audio-over-IP software), who is based in Nashville, and producer/engineer Tony Sheppard, who owns and operates Tonysound in Southern California.
The seminar is part of a monthly live series of seminars on tips and tricks for Pro Tools 8. Previous topics included video satellite (April), using Beat Detective and Elastic Audio (March), and Pro Tools’ MIDI Editor (February).
