Now in its sixth year, The Coachella Valley Music Festival has showcase a wide diversity of musical genres, this year welcoming artists artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Weezer, Chemical Brothers and Coldplay to the desert of Southern California.

Since the first show in 1999, Guy Charbonneau and Le Mobile have captured live performances on the main stage for a planned Coachella theatrical and DVD release. The 2005 show was the first to feature Le Mobile’s new 112 channels of Apogee 16X converters and Big Ben word clock generator on the truck’s two Pro Tools|HD systems.

In addition to Guy’s truck handling the main stage, mobile recording crew On The Spot Recording was brought in to cover one of the five secondary stages. With 32 channels of AD-16X and Rosetta 800 conversion clocked to a Big Ben on their portable rig, Dylan Ankney and Jason Hicks covered nearly 100 performances over two days.
