Nashville Recording Workshop + Expo Offers Early Bird Rates Until February 25

The Nashville Recording Workshop + Expo 2010 announces that early bird rates will remain on its registration page through Thursday, February 25, 2010.

Rates for the workshop and gear expo that takes place March 5 and 6—including lunch both days, a reception on the evening of March 5, and free parking—are as low as $39 for students and $59 for attendees who are a member of one of several industry organizations: AES, AFM, NSAI, the Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing, SPARS and RMA.

NRW+E 2010 will be held at the Curb Event Center at Belmont University. Workshop organizers state that larger exhibition space means that exhibitor slots are also still available, also at early bird rates—with co-opting opportunities allowing further discounts.

Exhibitors for NRW+E (some representing a number of brands and many offering “at show” specials) include Gordon Instruments, Charter Oak Acoustics, acouStaCorp, Mackie, Prism Media, Synthax/RME, Harrison, Great River Electronics, Sony Pro Audio, Starin, Blevins Audio Exchange, Source Elements, Whisper Room, SAE Institute, Corner Music and Endless Analog.

From Ben Folds opening keynote through the final presentation, the NRW+E program offers practical and real-world insights into recording technology and techniques.

The Nashville Recording Workshop + Expo is a production of the AES Nashville Section and Mike Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business, in conjunction with the Audio Engineering Society in New York City.

Registration and more information is available online at www.nashvillerecordingworkshop.com.
