Shauna Krikorian (pictured) and Stacey Palm, two seasoned music industry professionals, have joined AECG as head of film licensing and head of TV licensing, respectively, at Opus 1 Music Library, an AECG company. AECG president and CEO Alan Ett made the announcement.

Krikorian, formerly director of licensing for film at 615 Music, replaces Marrsha Sill, who departed Opus 1 to pursue other opportunities. Stacey Palm was formerly VP of film and television music at Famous Music Publishing.

“As Marrsha begins the next chapter in an already distinguished career, we wish her the best pursuing new opportunities in the music industry,” says Ett. “Shauna and Stacey have the experience and skill that we know will be great assets as Opus 1 Music continues to grow and adapt to the constant changes in the world of entertainment. We welcome them to the family.”

“We are tremendously excited about the addition of Shauna and Stacey, both of whom have dynamic music backgrounds in the film and television community,” says Mitch Rabin, executive VP of Opus 1 Music. “At the same time, we have enormous respect for Marrsha Sill and thank her for her many successful years of service.”

In addition to her prior post at 615 Music, Krikorian’s extensive experience in the music industry includes executive director at Paul Anka Productions where she handled all of the company’s day-to-day management, and manager of music for Tyrell Music Group. Krikorian’s film and television credits include Spiderman 3, The Watchmen, Horton Hears a Who, The Nanny Diaries, Ghost Rider, Dirty Sexy Money, Family Guy and America’s Next Top Model.

Palm’s background, in addition to Famous Music, includes senior director of the film soundtrack division at EMI Music Publishing. Her music placements in television include high profile shows such as Entourage, House, Ugly Betty, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Heroes, Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy.

One of the fastest growing music library companies in the world, Opus 1 Music Library, representing over 100,000 tracks of music for licensing, has its own catalog featuring more than 15,000 tracks, which are represented internationally by sub-publishers in more than 35 territories around the world, and is the exclusive U.S. distributor for 14 of the premiere European music library labels.
