Platinum Samples’ new Real Country Multi-Format MIDI Groove Library ($29), produced by John Emrich, includes more than 1,000 grooves performed by Emrich on a Yamaha DTX900 electronic drum set. The grooves comprise a variety of Country and Western styles, including two-beats, waltzes, shuffles, train beats, ballads, bluegrass, country swing, country rock and “Wailin'” styles in a variety of tempos.
All drum samples are formatted for BFD2, BFD Eco, EZDrummer, EZplayer, Superior Drummer Version 2, Addictive Drums, SSD4, and Cakewalk Session Drummer, as well as for General MIDI, which can be used with any GM compatible drum software or hardware.
Real Country is designed to make it easy to grab an appropriate groove for a song and start recording quickly when inspiration strikes. Platinum Samples recommends the library for demos as well as for final project recordings.
