This system is designed for capturing live performances and rehearsals, songwriting, song production, podcasting, and a variety of educational applications.

AudioBox Stereo includes a bus-powered USB audio/MIDI interface with a 6-foot USB cable; 2 combo mic/instrument inputs; 24-bit converters; 44.1 and 48 kHz sampling rates; 48-volt phantom power for condenser microphones; zero-latency monitoring via its internal mixer; and Studio One Artist software. PreSonus states that AudioBox Stereo also works with other audio software that supports ASIO or Core Audio.

Studio One Artist software offers a single-window work environment; drag-and-drop functionality; and unlimited audio tracks, MIDI tracks, virtual instruments, buses, and FX channels; and 25 Native 32-bit effects and virtual instrument plug-ins. It instantly configures to PreSonus audio interfaces.
