QSC’s Director of Marketing Communications, Ray van Straten
QSC Audio Products, a leading manufacturer of power amplifiers, loudspeakers, signal processing, digital signal transport, and computer control systems based in Costa Mesa, Calif., has appointed Ray van Straten (pictured) as the company’s new director of marketing communications. Van Straten will be responsible for all day-to-day marketing communications activities as well as the creation and development of all QSC branding, marketing collateral and communications initiatives.

Over the last eight years, van Straten has served as QSC’s retail market manager and more recently as the company’s Director of Entertainer Solutions; in this role he developed and implemented sales and marketing initiatives for all QSC portable sound products. Prior to joining QSC, van Straten served as the OEM Business Development Manager for Sonic Foundry (Sony Creative Software) and previously as the national accounts manager at Yamaha Corporation of America. An avid musician and composer, van Straten also currently serves on the NAMM Board of Directors for the International Music Products Association.
