Rupert Neve Visits VKLA for Special ‘Pensado’s Place’ Installment

Industry icon and renowned audio electronics inventor/designer Rupert Neve made a recent guest appearance at Vintage King Audio’s new Los Angeles showroom and studios to make an appearance on a special on-location edition of Pensado’s Place, the popular weekly Web broadcast hosted by top mixing engineer Dave Pensado.

On hand to meet Neve were engineers Geoff Emerick and Lenise Bent, as well as Vintage King’s Tom Menrath, Shevy Shovlin, Erika Earl, and dozens of enthusiasts who utse Neve’s productss in their daily work.

Rupert Neve Designs recently earned two TEC Awards for Outstanding Technical Achievement at Winter NAMM 2013. The Portico II: Master Buss Processor won for Signal Processing Technology (Hardware), while the 5059 Satellite 16_2+2 Summing Mixer won the Small Format Console Technology category. Additionally, the Pro Sound Network bestowed its “Best of Show” award on one of Neve’s newly announced 500 Series modules, the 542 Tape Emulator with Texture.
