Sennheiser to Hold Installed Sound Seminar August 4 in New York City

This Wednesday, August 4, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Eastern), the Sennheiser Sound Academy will offer a session on key practices, topics and trends in the installed sound/systems integration business at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Times Square, New York City.

This seminar is intended for worship leaders, system operators, mixers and technicians. Additionally, the course will offer 7.5 credits towards CTS certification renewal and is also useful as a refresher on key concepts and practices in live sound reinforcement.

Course content will cover RF wireless microphone and wireless personal monitoring systems design and applications; distributed audio systems and systems for ADA compliance; and digital audio networking, microphone selection and system troubleshooting.

Leading the seminar will be Sennheiser’s Kent Margraves, national applications manager for Installed Sound; Chris Phillips, market development manager; and David Theis, internal developer for Installed Sound.

Over the course of his career as an audio professional, Margraves spent a decade as a professional worship audio director and mixer, while Phillips has had eight years of live and installed sound industry experience. Theis brings 20 years of professional experience in the design and implementation of audio as both a contractor and a consultant.

The Crowne Plaza is located at 1605 Broadway, New York, NY 10019.

Each seminar costs $149 and includes lunch, swag, workshop materials and a $50 coupon toward the purchase of any Sennheiser product.
