Sweetwater Creation Station 400/450

The latest family of Creation Stations includes two 4U rackmount models and two 2U rackmountable models. These machines are designed to suit home-studio hobbyists, performing musicians, professionals in commercial studio settings, engineers recording on location with a portable rig, and more. Creation Stations are constructed from top-grade components for maximum speed, performance, and reliability. All four models sport powerful processors, ample storage options, and extensive connectivity for interfaces and other peripherals.

Housed in a sturdy 4U rackmountable chassis, the flagship CS450 boasts 12 GB of RAM, a 3.33GHz 6-core i7 processor, a 1 TB system hard drive, and a 1 TB audio/library drive. The CS450 includes a dual-output VGA/DVI port, and a multimedia card reader. Geared toward the professional producer or musician, this audio PC is built to handle the most demanding studio projects, from recording to using virtual instruments.

The more affordable CS400 model uses a 3.4GHz quad-core i7 processor and comes with 8 GB of RAM, a 500 GB system hard drive, and a 1 TB audio/library drive. It also includes a dual-monitor video card and a multimedia card reader. Housed in a 4U rackmountable enclosure, this quiet but powerful CPU is ideal for recording and music creation setups.

The new Creation Station line also includes the CS200 and CS250, housed in compact, lightweight 2U rackmount cases sized to fit into any mobile rack. These computers feature 4 GB of RAM and a 2.6GHz dual-core i3 and a 3.1GHz quad-core i5 processor respectively. The CS200 includes a 500 GB system drive, while the CS250 adds a second 1 TB audio/library drive. Both computers have dual-monitor video cards. With their lightweight, rack-friendly size, and durability, the CS200 and CS250 are ideal for portable/remote recording and music creation applications.

Each of the next-generation Creation Station computers uses the Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system and comes complete with a USB keyboard and mouse. In addition, Creation Station owners receive access to Sweetwater’s tech support team, as well as SweetCare Remote support, which allows for remote service.
