TC Electronic P2 5-Band Loudness Controller and Limiter
TC Electronic in Risskov, Denmark, announces that its P2 5-band loudness controller and limiter is now fully compliant with ITU BS.1770-2, EBU R128, ATSC A/85, and TR-B32. The P2 offers true-peak limiting, high-res fixed point DSP, loudness correction, 5-band processing, and online delay adjustment.
With Version 2.35, dedicated processing and presets for working within ITU BS.1770-2, EBU R128, ATSC A/85, and TR-B32 environments is instantly available. The new version also lowers latency from 1.8 ms to 0.8 ms.
P2 also offers trickle-down processing for simulcasting multiple platforms. P2 V. 2.35 includes trickle-down presets for Mobile and iPod platforms within ITU BS.1770-2, EBU R128, ATSC A/85, and TR-B32 environments at 48-bit resolution and 0.8 ms latency.
Finally, P2’s Icon application provides a common control environment for more than 30 devices, accessible from a PC, a Mac, or Icon hardware remote for ultimate flexibility.
