Premier bassist Brian Bromberg purchased Tannoy System 15 DMTIIs from Westlake Audio for several projects.
One of Brian’s most recent projects was the tribute album, Jaco (A440 Music Group), on which Bromberg played five-string bass, acoustic bass, fretless bass, acoustic piccolobass and fretted bass on this tribute to Jaco Pastorius. “I’m in the middle of several projects at once,” said Bromberg, which include producing tracks for Jennifer York (KTLA’s Channel 5’s top-flight airborne traffic reporter); working on some new tunes for sax-player Everette Harp for a spring 2003 release; producing a CD for guitarist/USC music professor Richard Smith; and starting production on a release by saxophone/flautist NelsonRangell for the A440 Music Group.
