The DEQ1024 maintains a true analog user interface with real fadersand no obtrusive menus. Its True Curve function allows translation offader positions into the corresponding frequency response, while theFBQ Detection system instantly shows critical frequencies and alsofunctions as an audio analyzer.
Its automatic and ultrafast feedback destroyer plus feedbackindication via fader LEDs helps solve feedback problems, while a noisegate/peak limiter function and a stereo imager provide for spatialenhancement. Additional sweepable high- and low-cut filters removehigh-frequency noise and unwanted frequencies. An integrated pink-noisegenerator enables room and loudspeaker equalization. On the connectionside, digital AES/EBU and S/PDIF interfaces and selectable sample rates(44.1, 48, 96 kHz), gold-plated XLR and 1/4-inch TRS are offered.Ultrahigh-resolution, 24-bit/96kHz AD/DA converters andhigh-performance 24/48-bit Motorola DSPs guarantee comes equipped, anda relay-controlled hard bypass with an auto-bypass function lets usercontinue audio work during power failure. Highly accurate, 2x 12-digitLED meters make easy input and output level setting possible, whileultrahigh-quality, illuminated 45mm faders, sealed rotary controls andilluminated switches are also available, as well as servo-balancedinputs and outputs guarantee large headroom.
