BIAS’ Peak 4.1 now includes Roxio Jam, a professional Red Book–standard CD burning software for Mac OS X, and SFX Machine LT, a limited edition of the multi-effects sound design plug-in.

Peak offers professional stereo audio editing and processing capabilities along with support for most popular audio formats, including Jam Image. Users can easily create regions and playlists within Peak, and then save them as Jam Images for easy burning with Jam. Jam features the ability to launch Peak as an external audio editor. This integration offers an easy and flexible workflow between both applications. The addition of Jam to Peak allows users to include track indexes, track names, ISRC codes (International Standard Recording Code) and additional information necessary for the production of commercial replication-ready CDs.

“BIAS is thrilled to offer Jam with Peak 4.1,” said Jason Davies, VP worldwide sales for BIAS. “Now our customers will have everything they need for the entire pro audio mastering process: from stereo recording to commercial reproduction-ready CD. The fact that all Peak 4.1 users will have Jam at no additional charge is nothing short of stellar.”

Peak 4.1 will be available Q1, 2004 with a SRP of $499 U.S. Customers purchasing Peak 4 after January1, 2004, will be eligible for a free downloadable upgrade. Customers may also order the update on CD for $19 U.S., plus shipping and handling. Upgrades to Peak 4.1 from Version 3.2.1 and earlier will be $149.
