BitHeadz is now shipping the newest versions of Unity Session, Unity Synth Expander, Unity DS-1 and Unity AS-1.

This latest release primarily focuses on the Unity line increasing its integration with RTAS, VST and Audio Unit-supported sequences under the OS X operating system. The new interface gives users control over program-specific controls, such as oscillator and filter parameters, modulation routing effects and modulator aspects, as well as Library/Bank/Program selection.

Audio input can now be used as a modulation source, run through AS-1’s Ring Modulator or passed through a synthesizer’s filters, either on its own or mixed with the audio input of a Unity program. Audio can also be used to trigger voices and envelopes.

Other features in Version 3.2 include support for Mac OS X’s multichannel, high-sample rate Core Audio (for use with pro audio interfaces), minor bug fixes, improved Unity Player functionality, Unity Editor import/export tuning tables as text files, improved Unity Librarian functionality, and added modulator and modulation routing support for audio and MIDI effect parameters.

The update is free to all current 3.x users and will be available for download from www.bitheadz.com. For more new product announcements, visit mixonline.com/products_new_products/index.htm.
