Broadjam Releases MetaJam for Mac

The Mac version of MetaJam allows musicians to wrap metadata around their digital songs or music tracks so that catalog searches on genre, subject matter and production style can be easily conducted.

The Mac version of MetaJam allows musicians to wrap metadata aroundtheir digital songs or music tracks so that catalog searches on genre,subject matter and production style can be easily conducted. Thesoftware then uploads the song data and audio files, synchronizing withBroadjam’s music search engine.

MetaJam also helps musicians build a Website with free hosting,create professional promotion and press kits, organize songs andphotos, and post gigs.

In addition, Broadjam is also close to converting its entire songlibrary into the new .AAC (MP4) format for streaming artist’smusic to its listeners through iTunes.

MetaJam for Mac is recommended to run on a G4 processor with 128 MBof RAM; minimum requirements include a G3 processor and 64MB RAM, OS X,a CD drive and 800×600 monitor resolution. The software works with bothJaguar (10.2) and Panther (10.3) versions of OS X. MetaJam retails fora MSRP of $199.
