Cinema Audio Society Announces This Year’s Winners

On March 9, at the Sheraton Universal Hotel’s Grand Ballroom, theCinema Audio Society (C.A.S.) held its annual awards banquet andceremony, bestowing top honors on four nominated programs and theirrespective teams of sound mixers. The Career Achievement Award waspresented to Oscar-winning sound editor Kay Rose, while the C.A.S.President’s Award was presented to Ed Somers, C.A.S., for his 15 yearsof ongoing service to the Society.
