Cutting Room Has a Busy New Year

The Cutting Room (New York City) started the year off with a bangwith numerous session projects.

Avril Lavigne and Johnny Reznick of the Goo Goo Dolls collaboratedin the studio’s newly renovated studio B for a week. Steve Schoppengineered the sessions.

Atlantic Records artist Leslie Mills and producer Kevin Kadish spentquality time together in Studio A and B working on a new track forMill’s upcoming release. Dylan Margerum was behind the boards withassistant engineer Steve Rakidzioski.

Columbia artists The Bravehearts finished up their debut album onStudio A’s SSL 9000 J console with engineer Jake Ninan. Also working onthe J console were Silva Line Records artist Gordone, tracking andmixing with engineer Schopp.

Ed Holmes Management booked up time for sessions with artists Amerieand Cardan.

R&B artist Keon Brice (EMI Publishing) worked in Studio B withengineer Joe Nardone on tracks for his future release.

Inside Studio A were Deck, tracking and mixing with engineer RockLogic and assistant Marco “Polo” Bruno.
