DM Audio Fills Stockholm Globe

Stockholm-based DM Audio AB has provided sound reinforcement for the Songs of Life concert at the city’s Globe Arena. 12/19/2003 7:00 AM Eastern

Stockholm-based DM Audio AB has provided sound reinforcement for theSongs of Life concert at the city’s Globe Arena. The show wasstaged by Lakarmissionen, the Swedish Medical Mission Foundation, andfeatured an all-star cast, including top Swedish artist Sanna Nielsen(pictured), the comprised more than 3,000 singers and a full symphonyorchestra.

The high-powered Martin W8L line array system, as well as themonitors, was driven by QSC PowerLight amplifiers, including PL9.0,PL4.0, PL1.8, PL38x and PL236 models. Using QSC’s QSControlsoftware, the amps were all monitored and controlled via Ethernet.

“The PowerLights are really the heart of this system,”said DM Audio’s Lars Wern. “We run them constantly in themost demanding circumstances, and they’re just amazinglysolid.” QSC’s Scandinavian distributors, EM Nordic,supplied the amps.
