The new M-fire M9600 stand-alone, 24-bit/96kHz DVD recorder isdesigned as a stereo mastering deck for high-quality audio. Thisthree-rackspace unit supports the existing DVD-Video format, allowingfinished discs to be played back on a standard DVD player. The M-fireis fully functional as a rewritable machine and uses DVD-RW, DVD-R,CD-R and CD-RWs.

In CD mode, discs can be written at 16-bit/44.1 kHz. Featuresinclude a straight-forward, tape deck-style button layout;user-friendly VFD display menu; stereo analog inputs/outputs;24-bit/96kHz converters; S/PDIF coaxial and AES/EBU digital formats;wireless remote control; 1/4-inch headphone monitor port with volumecontrol; sampling frequency support of 44.1/48/96 kHz; and more.
