Ego Systems’ nEar06 studio reference monitor delivers a wide range of frequency responses by employing two drivers and unique crossover technology developed by ESI.
The 6-inch/two-way bi-amplified high-current monitor boasts a stable and balanced low-mid frequency response, a defined MF and HF response, high sound pressure and very low nonlinear distortion. Both drivers are magnetically shielded for desktop music production users.
The low-frequency driver is a 6-inch polypropylene curved cone, and the high-frequency driver is a 1-inch magnetically shielded silk-dome driver. Input connections include XLR balanced and TRS balanced/unbalanced. Input sensitivity is 270 mV, while input impedance is 20k ohms balanced and 10k ohms unbalanced. Other features include a 55-20k Hz frequency response, S/N ratio of less than 75 dB below full output and ~-15dBu input level trim.
