The P1 processor is a high-quality microphone preamp/instrumentDI/line-level expander/compressor/limiter/mixer headphone amp in ahalf-rack space. The preamp features Burr Brown INA217 chip. Themultiple side-chained compressor offers musical gain control unlikeother types, and the limiter functions in a “look-ahead” manner withoutthe use of delay, helping to prevent hard clipping and protecting DAWsfrom digital overload.
