Infusion Adds Allen & Heath to Rig

Australian electronic live act Infusion have upgraded their sound set up with the addition of a PA28 from Allen & Heath’s new PA Series of portable live sound consoles. 12/05/2003 7:00 AM Eastern

Australian electronic live act Infusion have upgraded their soundset up with the addition of a PA28 from Allen & Heath’s newPA Series of portable live sound consoles.

The mixer is incorporated as one of Infusion’s frontlineinstruments operated by band member Jamie Stevens. “Already, theAllen & Heath PA28 has proven its reliability to us in some extremelive situations,” commented Stevens. “It also sounds soclear with very generous headroom, which is really important to us whenwe want to give it that little bit more. It is a great, reliabledesk.”

The PA28 has 24 mono and two dual stereo channels, a new padlesspreamp, internal effects unit, SPDIF output and 4-band parametricoutput EQ. Four auxiliary sends are provided: two pre-fade sends forfoldback, one post-fade for internal or external effects, and anotherpost-fade for additional effects or special feeds.
