Island Systems & Design—an Orlando, Fla.-based multimediaA/V solutions firm—was named to Hispanic Business 500 list of thenation’s largest Hispanic-owned companies for the fifthconsecutive year.

The award is presented to businesses with annual revenues rangingfrom $5 million to $1.48 billion. Total revenues for all HispanicBusiness 500 honorees reached $23.1 billion for 2002. The award issponsored by Hispanic Business magazine. Companies included inthe Hispanic Business 500 must show at least 51% ownership by U.S.Hispanic citizens and must be headquartered in the U.S. Companies mustsubmit revenue figures based on their report to the IRS on line 1c ofthe corporate/partnership tax return.
