KV2 Audio’s new high-output, active, full-range speakeremploys a low-frequency transducer with the company’s TransCoiltechnology and neodymium motor structure to increase force, lowerdistortion and provide increased frequency linearity.
A new patent-pending 1.75-inch titanium compression driver handleshigh frequencies. The 450- and 50-watt, high-current amplifiers areprotected by convection and forced-air-cooling. Complete onboardspeaker management includes EQ, time correction, phase alignment, crossover filters, amplifier overdrive protection and setup/levelcontrols.
Capable of 128dB sustained output with very high dynamic range, theEX10 uses an asymmetrical, trapezoidal Baltic Birch cabinet design withproprietary top and side handles. Each EX10 comes with a top M10 hangpoint, Omnimount bracket mount, two top-steel “fly clip”anchor points and four M6 bracket points, as well as a pole mount.
