Lake Technology Fully Digital Lake Contour Pro26D

Lake Technology Limited has announced the immediate availability of the Lake Contour™ Pro26D,

Lake Technology Limited has announced the immediate availability ofthe Lake Contour™ Pro26D, a new version of the company’s digitalloudspeaker processor that incorporates a stereo AES/EBU digital inputand output as standard. The fully digital signal path of this latestLake Contour model offers improved overall audio system quality throughthe elimination of an unnecessary DA/AD conversion at the console.

Supporting sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 96 kHz at 24-bitresolution, the digital input and output of the Lake Contour Pro26D isenabled through the Lake Controller software’s new Stereo Insertprogram, and is available for all existing module programs. An InputAuto-Select function provides signal redundancy. If the digital lockedsignal is interrupted or lost, Lake Contour instantly switches fromdigital to analog to maintain a continuous signal.

The 2-input, 6-output Lake Contour and new Lake Contour Pro26Dincorporate a set of DSP-based equalization and processing tools,including crossovers, dynamics and delays. Additionally, the it may beutilized as a high-quality EQ, delay and dynamics channel processorwhen inserted into any full bandwidth digital or analog audio path.
