NTI AG announces the release of the Minilyzer firmware release V3.10supporting induction loop measurements and extended individual harmonicdistortion analysis from 2nd to the 5th harmonic. The new firmware 3.10is available now. All Minilyzer users can upgrade their instrumentsthemselves using the MiniLINK PC software to download the firmware fromthe NTI Website.

Hearing aids are using Induction Loop Systems (AFILS) to transmitspeech and audio signals. NTI has responded to the demand of the marketfor proper qualification and verification of induction loop systemsinstallations. The AFILS mode is an extension of the standard firmwarefunctionality, and is available free of charge for all Minilyzer userswith the MiniLINK USB interface installed.

The Minilyzer supports all calibrated AFIL sensors and displays theactually measured field strength in A/m, as well as in dB relative tothe standardized reference of 400mA/m. Following the AFILS IEC 60118standard, the new firmware 3.10 supports level Quasi Peak, 10msintegration time; level RMS, (F)ast and (S)low integration time;frequency sweeps; THD+N measurements; 1/3rd Octave Spectral Analysis;and oscilloscope mode.
