New Art Sound Studio, part of New Art Digital in Mexico, recently installed Solid State Logic’s Avant Plus Digital Console for film and post in the facility.
“The Avant is very flexible, reliable and intuitive,” said Rodrigo Ortiz-Parraga at New Art Sound. “Everyone that has seen the room has been very impressed. The acoustics and sound are excellent, and the Avant console is a pleasure to work with.”
The compact size of the Avant has also been an advantage to the studio. “The configuration of the Avant console is ideal for a one-man show,” he said. “We have the Fairlight MFX 3.48 control surface integrated into the console so everything is always within reach. The console may be small, but it’s huge inside.”
