Alt-rockers Silvertide spent time tracking their new album for JRecords at Ocean Studios (Burbank, Calif.). Oliver Lieber produced theeffort with Brad Cook and Marc DeSisto engineering. Ocean’s Jason Cuppand Dean Nelson assisted.
“I was looking for a studio to cut a young rock band in, aplace with few distractions that we could just take over and make ourown for the duration of the project,” said Lieber. “Oceanproved to be ideal: relaxed vibe, amazing control room, great Neve, allof the right outboard gear, huge playing area with multiple iso rooms,and a crack staff from the manager to the seconds to the techs andbeyond. Ocean really had it all! Oh, yeah, the snacks are good,too!”
