PAD Hires Chris Walsh

Professional Audio Design (PAD) appointed industry veteran Chris Walsh as the company’s new director of West Coast sales.

Professional Audio Design (PAD) appointed industry veteran ChrisWalsh as the company’s new director of West Coast sales.

Publishing to sales managementfor several large audio firms. Chris’ well-rounded background inall aspects of audio makes him the ideal choice for our West Coastsales division, and we are looking forward to expanding our businesswith him onboard.”

Walsh graduated from the Institute of Audio Research’sone-year program and began engineering jobs at several major-recordlabels, including Elektra/Asylum Records and 20th Century Records. Fromthere, he migrated over to Warner Bros. Publishing, where he was incharge of studio operations and engineering. His sales career beganwith Studio Maintenance Inc., where he sold and installed large audioconsoles. He was the studio manager and staff engineer for Yo-DadProductions, general manager for The Guitar Center, overseeing severalretail outlets, and he was the VP of sales and marketing forMartinsound Inc. Just prior to joining PAD, Walsh served as the salesmanager for studio products for Tannoy North America and as a productmanager for DPA Microphones.
