Pragmatic now offers its PADS (Pragmatic Audio Distribution System), which sends high-quality stereo signals and DC power on Cat5 cabling to four rooms in a user's house. Each room has a high-performance stereo amplifier and volume, with volume control in a single gang electrical box.

The PADS can take any audio signal, such as the signal from an integrated receiver, a CD player, a hard disk-based audio server, an MP3 player from a PC, or a stereo and distribute it throughout the house. Two stereo speakers for each room come standard, as well as eight in-wall stereo speakers.
